Three Feet Below Inspired Recipes

Here are a few ideas for things to do with TFB products. We hope to expand this recipe list, so feel free to tell us some things which you have found real tasty using the TFB food in jars.

Dill Pickle Soup

This soup is souper unique. If you love the dill flavor and want to try it in a soup this is a great idea. Loved the way the vigorous whisking broke up the potato and made a real thick soup. The flavor shot out of this one.

Tip: If you dont want to use the whole pickles (cause you love them too much), save just the dill pickle juice for soup flavoring.

Kimchi Fried Rice

Similar to the dill pickles, this recipe uses the kimchi and the kimchi juice. To start; fry up some kimchi for 5 minutes, add cooked rice, then a quarter cup of the kimchi juice. Then you can take it from there, adding your favorite veggies and meat (usually already sauteed/grilled).

Here is a recipe for an example

Tip: Add more kimchi if you love the spice.

Raspberry Oat Bars

Officially TFBs new favorite snack. Think of a S-Bucks oat fudge bar crossed with a fig newton, BUT, filled with delicious TFB jam.

Oven 350. Lightly greased 10x15 bakin sheet.

Place all ingredients except last two, in mixer/food processor, mix like you are a world class DJ. Remove your favorite half and put aside. Blend the egg into the remaining half and press into baking sheet. Bake til firm and lightly brown (~10 min).

Remove. Layer with TFB jam evenly. Sprinkle the top with the remaining half of the crumbly mixture. Bake for another 10 mins . Cool and Cut up.

3/4c flour, 3/4c ww flour, 2c rolled oats, 1.5c walnuts, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1.5tsp cinnamon, 1c butter (softened) and 1.5c brown sugar

1 egg (lightly beaten)

1c TFB Jam

Tip: Use whatever flavor of TFB jam you want. You can also mix the type of nuts up (from walnuts to hazelnuts to almonds).

Heirloom Crushed Tomatoes

This is a staple meal starter. For example, it is great as the base of spaghetti sauce.

This stewed chicken and chickpea recipe  really brought out the tomatoes fresh flavor.
